Classroom Management
To keep up with your child’s behavior a stamp will be placed in your child’s agenda ( located in their O.W.L binder ) on a daily basis. Students will be given a color based on their behavior for that specific day. Parents are required to sign on the stamp daily in order for the teacher to know that it was seen. Here is how it works.
All students will start on GREEN everyday. Based on students’ behavior, they can either move up to BLUE or PINK, or they can move down to YELLOW or RED.
BLUE means that the student put out extra effort in their work and behavior for they day. This behavior is acceptable
PINK means that the students was super in their work and behavior for the day. This behavior is also acceptable.
YELLOW means that student was given TWO warnings about their behavior and they need to make better choices. This behavior has broken a class rule.
Red means that the student was warned more than two times about their behavior and the parent will be contacted.
If your child comes home on yellow or red please speak to them about making better choices.
